About Hallie
Hallie Belt has been a 5-star resume writer for 15 years and a global advertising agency editor and proofreader for 20+ years. Based in Chicago’s Gold Coast, she offers one-on-one virtual writing, editing, and proofreading services. She can work with anyone anywhere and has helped clients who were in Fiji, Australia, Sweden, Spain, and, of course, many places in the United States.
As a resume writer with an M.A. in English, Hallie creates SEO-friendly, ATS-optimized resumes; succinct LinkedIn profiles; and attention-getting cover letters. She also provides customers with valuable job-seeking strategies for their job search.
In her roles as an ad agency editor and a proofreader, she maintains client satisfaction by assuring the high quality of all documents: websites, emails, PPT presentations, marketing materials, social media posts, transcripts, voice-over copy, storyboards, and much more. This process involves her reviewing the writing, grammar, punctuation, spelling, format, version consistency, fact-checking, overall visual presentation, and much more.
Additionally, Hallie was an English composition adjunct lecturer for 15 years: Columbia College Chicago, Roosevelt University, Harold Washington College, Austin Community College, and The American School in Switzerland.
Hallie collaborates directly with her clients so that they can clearly express their written message and increase their chances for success. Contact her today so that she can help you articulate who you are professionally.
